Gamer IRL

We’re currently developing this program as a grant-funded series and are waiting to hear back after submitting our proposal this year.

Designed as a five-part interactive series, this program creates space for gaming communities to connect beyond the screen. Through movement, storytelling, conversation, and play, participants will build relationships, develop social-emotional language, and explore real-life topics connected to gaming, screen time, and digital dependency.

The series also offers mental health resources for families who game together and want supportive tools for navigating the challenges that can come with screen-based play.

Each session brings together a storyteller, a gaming expert, and a licensed therapist to create a thoughtful, engaging, and supportive experience.

Two age groups will be offered.

Villain Story Hour

This is one of our most requested storytime programs, and we’re excited to begin offering it after June. We hope to host the series in a meeting room at our local library and invite the community to gather, participate, and support the program.

This five-part series uses beloved villain stories as a playful way to explore alternative perspectives, emotional awareness, and meaningful life lessons. Through storytelling, imagery, conversation, and creative activities, audiences are invited to think about conflict with more compassion, build community, practice self-care, and learn tools for calming and grounding the body.

Storytellers guide participants through accessible language and reflective exercises that help them better understand themselves, others, and the world they move through.

Each event includes a themed craft.

This program is open to all ages and is especially great for school-age children and families.

Show Your Colors

This program is designed especially for our youngest audiences, offering a five-part storytime series focused on feelings, emotions, and self-expression.

Through storytelling, social-emotional learning tools, and gentle guided activities, families are invited to learn together, ask questions, and practice naming and expressing emotions in supportive ways.

Each session includes snacks, crafts, and take-home tools that families can continue using beyond the program.

This series is open to all ages and is especially great for little ones and school-age children.

Alter Ego

This program will require a significant sponsor and a venue that can fully support the needs of the series, including space for workshops, rehearsals, and a final performance.

Designed for transitional youth, this multi-week program guides participants through the process of building an onstage persona or character from the ground up. Through hands-on workshops, participants will explore makeup, hair, stage presence, character development, storytelling, and performance skills.

Led by experienced stage practitioners, the series offers creative direction, mentorship, and practical tools to help participants express themselves with confidence.

The program culminates in a live performance where participants can share the characters, skills, and stories they have developed throughout the series.

Coming Soon: Book Club

A new book club for transitional-age youth centered on queer stories, history, identity, and community. Through shared reading and guided conversation, participants will explore LGBTQIA+ themes, build connection, and engage with queer education in a supportive and welcoming space.
